Musical theatre performers are often called “triple threats” because they can act, sing, and dance—but great musical theatre is about more than doing three things well. It’s about learning how to bring all three skills together to tell a story.

Students do NOT have to already be strong in all three areas. “Triple Threat” can sound intimidating to a child who thinks, "I'm not a dancer! or I'm not a great singer! this class is where you need to be!"

In this six-week workshop, students will explore the three essential areas of musical theatre performance while building confidence, stage presence, and ensemble skills. Through theatre games, vocal work, movement, songs, scenes, and choreography, students will learn how to make stronger performance choices and become more confident, well-rounded performers
